How good do you think is your research report? Check it keeping in mind the following points. Rate yourself as ‘Excellent’, ‘Very good’, ‘Good’, ‘Fair’ or ‘poor’.

Quotations are properly typed

A] The short quotations are marked with quotation marks, “……”, and they are italicized.

Chapter  Two of the  report ends with a section on ‘Implications for the Present Study’. There are statements which are bulleted and listed explaining what ‘could be tried out’ in the class. This matches with what is described in Chapter Three.

Chapter Three presents the  details of the research carried out. It provides information about the  research design and the research procedure.  The information regarding the selection of the sample, the tools prepared and used, the classroom procedures and the data collected are presented in detail.

Each chapter ends with a statement linking whatever is presented in that chapter with what is going to be discussed in the next chapter.

The fourth chapter presents both the qualitative and quantitative analysis. The statistical data is presented in the form of tables and graphs. The classroom procedures are analysed and the ideas are presented under proper sub headings.

In the fourth chapter, the hypotheses are taken up one by one and they are evaluated and accepted or rejected based on the evidence obtained through data collection.

The findings of the study are presented as bulleted points and the suggestions are offered as per the findings. The findings and suggestions are specifically related to the topic of the research and the hypotheses worked out. Suggestions for further research could also be included in this chapter.

The last chapter presents an overview of the whole research and concludes the study.
